To Scale Or Not To Scale!

Whether in business or one’s career, this is a crucial question. Should you scale or should you not?

Do you like being a big fish in a small pond or another small fish in a big sea?

Well, I believe the choices are based on individual preference.

But, these questions can decide the path of your business or life in the future.

These are pertinent questions we need to answer way before we take that next step for the answers are based on our vision of the future and what we hold close to our heart today.

No doubt, human progress relies on questioning and pushing that envelope. But, not everyone shares the same interests. While to some, physical manifestation of our progress is important, others may be more inclined to see it in our psychological or spiritual progress. To each, his own.

Human achievement, nevertheless, can be marveled at in all aspects of progress.

What progress we see depends on where our energies are concentrated.

Try to build the most customer-centric business on the planet, and you get an Amazon. Work on innovative products that wow your customers, and you have an Apple. Try to bring a smile to a baby’s face and the mother’s heart might skip a beat in satisfaction due to her child’s delight.

The question is where does your focus lie and what do you want to see achieved?

The possibilities of your future and perhaps, that of your career or business are multifold and immense. It all goes back to where you deem to focus your energies on.

Ruminate and ask questions, deeper and insightful questions of yourself and then, find the answers that will help you shape your decisions.

Align your decisions with your values. Values are where you will find your satisfaction and inner peace.
