My vision

I want to bring change to the world by bringing change in education. My vision lies with properly designing the young minds so that they can write the future with utmost sense and responsibility. I want to have the Toptal Scholarship to turn my ideas to action, one of which is to make handwriting recognition possible that will be of great help in schools and universities where test copies are checked manually. The manual copy checking has a lot of bias and unsatisfaction associated with it which unknowingly corrupts the student mindset and make them lose faith in the entire system which was meant to teach the power of hardwork. The system somewhere instils in them the power of favouritism which pulls them back and denies them to work hard and think different but to just cram and come.

To get this done I need financial support as well as mentoring which can help me cater to the business aspect of my ideas. Also I want to gain more knowledge about the technical aspect of getting AI to its rescue. I have already started working on the project and need some more resources to gather more information on the same. Toptal can definitely help me with the finance and mentorship.

Majority of my ideas cater to the education field as I believe this is the most elementary place from where changes should and can actually begin. One idea that I actually tried out to see the audience response was to come up with an idea to launch an app for schools that can take automatic attendance through AI and save a whole lot of time along with having many other options available like interconnecting the various schools so that students are well aware and exposed to ample opportunities. It was to connect teachers and parents on the go in their busy lives where they are unable to find time to meet in person. The idea got a good response and I also started working on the prototype. A little of funding and guidance would help me make an extensive app that would cater to these ideas.

I want to take my ideas ahead and bring them to action and help from Toptal would motivate me to contribute to the world and solve many more problems.

I also wish to do MBA to learn entrepreneurship skills to nurture my ideas and to implement them with utmost perfection. The fees being very high is beyond my personal capacity. All my roads and plans are to move in a direction that can help me see my dreams turning to reality where I can make a difference to the world. Being an Indian I want to start creating this dent from here. The problems and ideas that I have today are inspired from India and I hope and believe that a greater exposure would help me recognize more problems and deal with them with some great ideas.

The one more thing that I wish to achieve is exchange of good practices across borders. I would in some way make it more feasible for people to learn and accept something new and better. As I mentioned earlier that my main focus lies with reforming education. I want to set up a chain of schools starting with India where learning is not rote but practical. In the present system we are made to give exams, get number for what we know and lose numbers for what we don’t. The whole focus after that is to improve grades in the next class but what about correcting the concepts for which I lost marks. There is no focus on that practice. I wish that I get Toptal Scholarship that can not only help me with money but can also give me a boost to be a go getter and help me achieve my dream of reforming education and hence the future.
