Honesty Versus Responsibility

When writing I have to ask myself if I am being honest. Am I writing about what I think people want to hear or is it coming from my soul? This is why I like journaling — I can write whatever I want…

How to STOP Daydreaming and START taking Action towards your Dreams

Most daydreaming is aimless, useless fantasies we create in our minds to feel good at the moment. They are illusions we waste precious moment on instead of being Present. Daydreaming often saps the energy from doing what’s right in front of us because we are busy fantasizing about a “world” that doesn’t exist.

This can be okay if all you know is chronic pain and suffering, and there’s nothing more to do. It can be a way to ease the pain in the present moment. But if you’re not in this category and want to accomplish some worthy things in your life, YOU have to WAKE UP.

Daydreaming is okay once in a while as long as you can actually wake up and do the corresponding work required.

Some of us are very wealthy in our fantasy world. Mansions, luxury cars and the “finest” things in life, but have nothing close to that in reality.

Isn’t it better to actually have those things in reality. To give the Present Now our full attention and find ways of solving our problems rather than daydreaming about it.

How can we wake up from daydreaming and take action?

Be Present.

Become more aware of your present moment. Realise that right Now is all you’ve ever had and will continue to have.

Dream intentionally. I am a crazy believer in dreams and I do encourage having dreams.

A clear intentional burning desire within you, yearning to be actualized.

I believe in their transformational power, their potential to radically change our world. Take for example the famous dreamer Martin Luther king Jr. His dreams are still causing change in our world today.

Next is to take action immediately. THINK AND ACT.

Whenever you catch yourself daydreaming, ask yourself “what can I do Right Now, in service of my dreams” and then do it. Don’t delay in taking action.

And when you do daydream, be intentional about them, be clear. Rather than aimless wandering, visualise your true dreams, then wake up and make it happen.

May our dreams come true.
