My First Post

Cliché, right?

I have always wanted to write, but the fear of writing has held me back. I do that a lot, the fear of not knowing how to do something will prevent me from even trying. Once I start, I find out that it isn’t that bad at all. I am hoping that this is also the case with this. It did take 2 months for me to get around to writing this post, and 15 minutes to actually write it.

I also figure that I am not a good writer, I almost failed my English class in High School, and it took me a bunch of extra-credit to get a C. It was only later on at University that I found out that I had dsylexia, I struggle reading and writing. I try to stay away from those two mediums as much as possible, anything I want to learn, I do it through YouTube videos; anything I write, well, is generally done in code. 💻

I prevent myself from releasing a lot of my creations as they never seem good enough, I have a habit of never declaring a project finished, as I always have extras in the back of my mind that I would like to add. I have a goal to elevate that nature and hit that publish button and take that feedback onto the next project, I think that could be a really great way to grow.

My main interests are in technology, even more so for well-designed technology. Looking at you, Apple (for the most part). I am interested in both the hardware and software of a product. I have been employed as a Software Engineer for the past 3 years, so I appreciate the difficulties of certain behaviours. I plan to write about:
